The album

After the success of her debut album Some Friendly (1990 ), her first number-one album in the UK, The Charlatans had to pass some difficult years. The Madchester boom, which they belonged, lost its popularity and was replaced by grunge. The following two albums had only moderate success. The two singles prior publications from The- Charlatans album, Crashin ' In and Just Lookin ' / Bullet Comes, came only on excessive public interest. In the meantime, the Britpop had emerged with the flagship Oasis and Blur. The single Just When You're Thinkin 'Things Over benefited from this mood and gave the Charlatans a comeback success. The Charlatans rose to number one on the UK Top 40 album charts a.
