The Cure (The Cure album)

The Cure is the eponymous twelfth studio album by the British band The Cure. It was published in June 2004 by Geffen Records.

History

After the recording contract had expired with Fiction Records, signed The Cure a contract for three albums with Geffen. As a co- producer for the first time worked with Ross Robinson on a studio album by the group. Compared to the previous albums of the band The Cure had musically harder, which is attributed to the influence of Ross Robinson.

The illustrations on the cover are from Robert Smith's nieces and nephews. Creation-date these were in childhood and did not know what the drawings should be used. Smith asked for drawings on the subject of Good Dreams - bad dreams and chose it for the cover of some.

Criticism
