The Departed (Band)

The Departed or Cody Canada and The Departed is an American country band the Red Dirt scene.

History

The Departed was founded following the split of the band in 2010, Cross Canadian Ragweed, with Cody Canada was 16 years previously active. In addition to Canada and bassist Jeremy Plato had been a member of the band and this was also in The Departed. Lead guitarist of the new group was Seth James, who had already released two solo albums in 2001 and 2009. Other members were Steve Littleton (piano) and Dave Bowen (drums).

The first album This Is Indian Land was produced by Adam Odor and published in June 2011. The album reached number 13 of the genre charts. The follow-up work brought the band out in November 2012. The staff changed it again, as the new drummer for the Dave Bowen stepped out Chris Doege could be won. The Group hereby placed on number 19 on the country charts.
