Production

The Documentary (Eng. The documentation ) is the debut album of American rapper The Game. It was published on 18 January 2005 on the label G -Unit Records and Aftermath Entertainment. It is the genre Rap, special attributed to the West Coast rap, as well as the gangsta rap.

Production and samples

At the production of the album many different producers were involved, with Dr. Dre and 50 Cent acted as executive producers. Dr. Dre produced the beats to pieces intro ( with Che Vicious ), Higher ( with Mark Batson ), How We Do and Do not Worry (both with Mike Elizondo ). West Side Story and Start from Scratch he produced in collaboration with Scott Storch. Just Blaze created the instrumentals to Church for Thugs and No More Fun and Games, while Kanye West produced the title Dreams. The beat to Hate It or Love It produced the duo Cool & Dre, Do not Need Your Love was produced by Havoc and the instrumental to Put You on the Game created Timbaland. For the production of the song The Documentary Jeff Bhasker is responsible, while Hi- Tek, the piece Runnin ' produced. Eminem created the beat to We Is not produced and Focus Where I'm From. In addition, the beats Special by Needlz and Like Father, Like Son by Buckwild come.

Nine Songs of audio medium contain elements of songs by other artists. For the intro parts of Down into the Magic of Donald Kerr were used, while for the song Dreams No Money Down by Jerry Butler was sampled. Hate It or Love It is sampling the track by The Trammps Rubber Band and Do not Need Your Love contains elements of the song Not Gon Cry by Mary J. Blige. In the song No More Fun and Games were part of the title Gangsta, Gangsta by NWA used, while samples of the songs We Is not The Watcher by Dr. Dre, One Day at a Time by Tupac Shakur and Patiently Waiting comprises of 50 cents. Also, Where I'm From is sampling the track Amanda Dionne Warwick, special the piece Catherine Howard by Rick Wakeman and Like Father, Like Son the song Mariya from The Family Circle.

Guest Posts

At eleven songs on the album guest contributions from other artists are included. The rapper 50 Cent takes on the songs West Side Story, Hate It or Love It and How We Do in appearance, Eminem can be heard on the track We Is not and Nate Dogg is represented in the titles Where I'm From and Special. Mary J. Blige sings the chorus of Do not Worry, while Faith Evans sings the chorus of Do not Need Your Love. In addition, Marsha Ambrosius is to hear from Scratch at startup.
