The Dong-a Ilbo

The Dong -a Ilbo (English East Asian newspaper ) is a daily newspaper in South Korea. It was founded in 1920 as a Toa Nippo by Kim Songsu when Korea was a colony of Japan. At the beginning Dong -a Ilbo was a nationalist newspaper, the date, however, committed to true to its company motto to critical and honest reporting. It is one of three major newspapers in South Korea and has a daily circulation of more than 2 million copies. Dong -a Ilbo has partnerships with six foreign newspapers, including the New York Times in the U.S., Asahi Shimbun in Japan and the Times in the UK.
