The Fuzztones

The Fuzztones are an American garage rock band.

History

The band was founded in 1980 by singer and guitarist Rudi Protrudi in New York. In the early 1980s, she dominated mainly by the garage rock revival. Until the dissolution of the first formation in 1987, they earned themselves a cult status in America and Europe with their live performances, in which they also cover versions of mostly forgotten songs from the sixties played alongside his own compositions. By this outcrop conveying from the Garage punk and psychedelic rock bands like The Sonics were discovered by a young generation of musicians again, many years later, the Grunge wave should trigger.

Although the Fuzztones at a major label were up early, it was never their main goal is to have commercial success. They consistently played their dirty sound on their 60 - period instruments and be loved for it by a small but loyal following.
