The Gathering (Infected-Mushroom-Album)

The Gathering is the first studio album by the Israeli psychedelic trance duo Infected Mushroom. The album is characterized by a typical trance and Goa dark and organic atmosphere. The album cover was created by the Israeli artist Eyal example.

Background

In retrospect, iron was not very pleased with the production of the album, pointing out that he was still relatively young at the time of shooting 16. There are only a few good pieces on the album, especially Tommy the Bat. Yet, the album is considered in the Goa scene as a classic. In particular, the track " Psycho" has come to a strong celebrity. He counts on the video sharing website Youtube over 11 million views.

Reception

Dean Carlson of Allmusic heard on The Gathering restrained samples for the " einfühlsameren " listener " torrential " Arrangements for the " less sensitive ". Although he was " pretty good ", described the album as, the score was the result of 2.5 out of five stars.
