The Harvard Lampoon

The Harvard Lampoon is an American satirical magazine, which is published by Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

It was founded in February 1876 by the student John Tyler Wheelwright and six of his fellow students. Even from the first edition of 1,200 copies were sold. The content of the newspaper based primarily on the British satirical magazine Punch.
