The Mangler is a horror film from 1995, the " The Wäschemangler " by Stephen King based on the short story, which was published in the short story collection Night Shift.

Action

In the laundry " Blue Ribbon " the recurrence of fatal accidents involving the mangle. The Chief Inspector John Hunton takes on the investigation, focusing primarily on the imperious and abstruse owner of the Laundry Bill Gartley. Is a kind of inner link between Gartley and the machine. The finisher has a life of its own and calls once a year the blood of a virgin 16 -year-old. John Hunton and his friend Jackson try the machine with the help of occult practices on their own off and it develops a battle between man and machine.
