The Nexus (professional wrestling)

The Nexus ( also: The New Nexus ) was a wrestling table, which appeared weekly in WWE on Raw.

History

The stable was after the first season of WWE NXT, Wade Barrett, winner founded Selbiger, and originally consisted of the participants of the first season. As part of the elaborate storyline Wade Barrett tried to storm between CM Punk and John Cena at WWE Raw along with the losers of the season the main event on June 7, 2010. They destroyed the ring and the announce table and beat the wrestlers and officials together on the ring. Similar scenes were shown in the next issues. The aim was to give all wrestlers Wade Barrett and not just a contract. The Stable subsequently awarded a contract with WWE.

The Stable has been portrayed as a formation aspiring young wrestlers who forced by her acting officials, blaming them important matches. In one match, John Cena forced short of the formation was to join.

From 1 August 2011, the only remaining Nexus members David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty came to no more than Nexus, which is equivalent to the end of the grouping.

The greatest success of the group was winning the WWE Championship by CM Punk.

Members

Until December 27, 2010, Wade Barrett was the leader of this stable, until he was replaced by CM Punk.
