Darren Young

Life

Rosser attended Union High School in New Jersey, where he played American football. He then studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he decided to become a professional wrestler. Young is currently under contract with WWE and appears regularly in their wrestling shows.

2013 Rosser outed as a homosexual. He is the first outed wrestler who is at the same time in the WWE under contract and is also supported by an official statement. Before him already outed other wrestlers, such as Pat Patterson and Orlando Jordan, but this occurred after the end of her career in the WWE.

Beginnings / Independent

Once as a teenager with Backyard Wrestling Rosser gained his first experience, he attended the School Wrestling Camp IWF in West Paterson, New Jersey. His wrestling debut in the independent scene took place in 2002. Rosser joined, among others, for Chaotic Wrestling and Independent Wrestling Federation in the ring. In the latter, he won promotion to the IMF Heavyweight Championship his first major title.

From the summer of 2004 Rosser wrestled in the East Coast Wrestling Association, where he emerged from his feud with Prince Nana as the winner and the ECWA Mid Atlantic Championship received.

World Wrestling Entertainment / WWE

After Rosser had already contested matches for SmackDown and Raw in 2005 and 2006, some dark, he signed in 2009 a development contract with WWE. Since his time at Florida Championship Wrestling Rosser appears under the name Darren Young into the ring.

Rosser took part in the first season of the wrestling show WWE NXT, where he was assigned as a mentor wrestler CM Punk. Rosser was eliminated in week 13 and ended up with it in fifth place.

With the other participants of the first season of WWE NXT Rosser formed the Heel wrestling Table The Nexus, which debuted in June 2010 on Raw. After his face turn in September of the same year Rosser rose as a lone fighter in the ring.

From March 2011 Rosser appeared in the fifth season of WWE NXT, where this time Chavo Guerrero he was asked as mentor. In April 2012, Rosser joined together with Thaddeus Michael Bullard, better known by the ring name Titus O'Neil to Smackdown. The Tagteam, which was given the name The Prime Time Players, first appeared as heels. In August 2013, Facebook was the turn of the duo.

On 31 January 2014, Bullard turned According to the storyline against his Tagteam partner, which led to the dissolution of the Prime Time Players. Since then, Rosser occurs again as a lone fighter in the ring.
