The Northern Territories

The Northern Territories was a musical project from Sweden, in 1992 by John Alexander Ericson (vocals, instruments) and Stefan Sääf (vocals, instruments) was founded in Uppsala.

His compositions, the duo moved first in the synth-pop environment, the first two publications published by the Berlin record label Machinery. Due to the use of acoustic instruments, The Northern Territories articulated with the subsequent works "Orange Moon" and "Satellite People" but gradually from their electronic roots away.

Since the beginning of the new millennium, now lives in Berlin musician John Alexander Ericson converts a solo career. His three albums " Songs For Quiet Souls ", " Savannah Songs" and "Black Clock Works" led the style of the Northern Territories continued consistently, but contain mostly symphonic ballads, enriched with subdued, partly economical piano sounds and female vocals.
