The Pink Phink

The Pink muckraker is an American animated short film directed by Friz Freleng from the year 1964.

Action

A white man painting a wall with blue color. The Pink Panther appears and cancels the wall unnoticed in pink around. The man is trying not only walls, but also columns, stairs and entire rooms to emphasize blue, but his attempts fail, as the Panthers all einfärbt in pink always faster and unnoticed by various tricks. First, the man suspected perpetrators in a mouse, later a great mouse, and finally caught the Panthers while wearing paint bucket. He pursues him with a shotgun, but can fill with pink color of the panther. So finally, the exterior of the house is pink even shot at and finally completely inked.

The man finally collecting all buckets with pink color and buries them near the house. The flowers and trees that arise now are all colored pink and even the sun assumes that color. At the end of Panther sweeps the man pink, takes his things and moves into the villa. The man responded angrily.

The Pink muckraker was the first short animated film series The Pink Panther, which was developed in response to the popular animated opening credits of 1963 -down in the feature film The Pink Panther. The Pink muckraker was released in theaters on December 18, 1964.

It was the first, which started in the cinema animation of the newly founded DePatie - Freleng animation studios Enterprises, the Friz Freleng had formed after his departure from Warner Bros..

Awards

The Pink Schmierfink won the 1965 Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ".
