William Lava

William Lava ( born March 18, 1911 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, † February 20, 1971 in Los Angeles ) was American film composer and arranger.

Life

Lava attended Von Humboldt Grammar School and Lane Tech High School in Chicago and then the Northwestern University. He studied conducting with Dr. Albert Coates in Los Angeles. He worked from 1962 to 1969 for Warner Bros., Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies where he replaced the deceased Milt Franklyn.
