The Rascals (English band)

The Rascals were a three - piece indie -rock band that was formed in 2006 in Hoylake in North West England. It consisted of former members of the band The Little Flames: Miles Kane, Joe Edwards and Greg Mighall. Their first EP Out of Dreams was released on December 9, 2007. Their debut album Rascalize, which was produced by Ben Hillier, first published 15 June 2008 on iTunes, and later on June 23 on CD. On 24 July 2008 they played at the Fuji Rock Festival in Tokyo. In addition, the lead singer Miles Kane shares a second band The Last Shadow Puppets with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. In August 2009, Miles Kane announced that he would leave the band in order to focus on his solo career.
