The Rembrandts

The Rembrandts is an American rock band that ( * July 1, 1956 in Duluth, Minnesota) from Danny Wilde ( * as Danny Thomas on June 3, 1956 in Maine, USA) and Phil Solem is. The two make since the mid-1970s music together. From 1981 to 1989, when both members of the band Great Buildings were. In 1989 they decided to make their own project on their feet and decided on the name The Rembrandts, because this name " sounds good ". Her first success was the song Just The Way It Is, Baby, 1991, a Top 20 hit in Germany, Austria and the USA. However, her most famous song is I'll Be There For You, the theme song of the sitcom Friends in 1994, who finished 3rd in the British charts in 1995 and also managed in the United States among the top 20. After two more albums in 1997 it came to a separation of the two.

Solem returned to Minneapolis back in order to focus on his band Thrush, Wilde went on alone under the band name Danny Wilde & The Rembrandts and published in 1998 by Spin This. However, since he could just as Solem not achieve any success, it came in 2001 to reunification and the feedback with the album Lost Together.
