The Rose for Italy

The Movimento Federativo Civico Popolare ( German: Federal Civil and Popular Movement), often pink per l' Italia or Rosa Bianca ( German: Rose for Italy or White Rose ), is a Christian democratic movement of the Italian center, with the motto "Freedom and solidarity ". For top management also includes the former mayor of Parma Elvio Ubaldi, as Vice Chairman ( Vicesegretario ), and the former president of the Banco di Roma and politicians of the Christian Democrats Pellegrino Capaldo as president of the ethical committee, with the supervision of the party finances. The Pink per l' Italia joined before the 2008 elections, the movement Italia Popolare - to Movimento per l'Europa Gerardo Bianco and Alberto Monticone. The two Euro MPs Gianni Rivera and Beniamino Donnici belong to the new lineup.

On 28 February 2008 the party took place at a consensus with the UDC on the establishment of a single list of the Centre under the leadership Casini. An alliance of parties stood with his name Unione di Centro to vote. Because of this decision, as well as due to various disputes candidacy, left on 11 March 2008 Gerardo Bianco, Alberto Monticone and Gianni Rivera Rosa per l' Italia.
