Contents and action

The player assumes the role of Sean, an Irish racing driver / mechanic who must meet precarious contracts in occupied Paris from Nazi Germany of the Second World War and so gradually freed the city from the Germans with the Resistance. Much like in the GTA games you have the opportunity to completely free to explore the city and even to drive over the border to Germany. It is also possible to climb every roof of the city and move forward so similar to Assassin's Creed, inconspicuous through the city. During the fighting with the German occupiers players are also the citizens of Paris to the side, which helpfully intervene into the action.

Presented is the game in a look that is reminiscent of neo-noir films like Sin City, the color or lack of color is used as a stylistic device: Occupied territories are shown in black / white, while the swastika armbands, flags and blood red color shimmer. If we exempt these areas from the crew, return the colors and thus symbolically the hope of the Parisians. In addition, the player can destroy by skillful sabotage guard towers, propaganda speakers or generators so as to weaken the German army. Unlike other games, this has lasting impact on the game - a ruined watchtower remains disappeared for the remainder of the game.

Amazing close they were nevertheless convinced, considering the stupidity around it. [ ... ] The story is told well enough and good enough timed to drown out the predictability. The characters are sufficiently impressive and endearing enough to look up to them the horrible accents. Style and setting are beautiful enough to up for the overall lack of depth. The gameplay is varied and exciting enough to distract from the lack of fine-tuning. "
