Background

The title is a pun on two meanings. It can thereby think of the inner well-being of people as well as to the internal security of a state, not least because the content appeals to actions of the Red Army Faction. The film was to be called ghosts first. This track Petzold used later for his film ghosts.

The film was shot on 3 April 2000 to 28 May 2000 in the Algarve and in Hamburg.

Criticism

" Excellent played and staged film that raises a topic recent history dealing with very personal and shows people that have set up in the hopelessness, but now suddenly faced with the fear of failure. An impressive study that allows diverse conclusions about mentalities. "
