The stranger is the title of an Austrian feature film of Götz Spielmann in 2000 after a co-authored with Maria Scheibelhofer script. The crime drama was nominated in 2001 by Austria as a contribution to international Oscar.

The film about a ruptured cocaine deal, the encounter of two mutually Unknown ( the Mexican Mercedes and the taxi driver Harry) who fight seemingly chance against her fate in its center.
