The Universe (TV series)

Secrets of the Universe ( Original title: The Universe, DVD Title: Our Universe ) is a documentary series from the History Channel about facts and phenomena in the field of cosmology. The first episode was broadcast on 29 May 2007.

Content

With footage from NASA and sophisticated animation is dedicated to the documentation of various topics such as the Big Bang theory, supernovae, black holes, galaxies, solar systems, stars, planets, dark matter, gravity, speed of light, strings, historical asteroids, constellations, or astrobiology.

Further hypotheses on Nemesis, extraterrestrial life, time travel or parallel universes are treated.

Production and broadcasting

The seasons 1-4 were produced from 2010 to 2011 Sunfilm Entertainment ( Tiberius film ) on DVD. The DVD of season 5 was released in 2012 Polyband media. In addition, other sets and boxes as Blu -ray were released.
