The Valkyrians are a Finnish band.

Band History

The Valkyrians founded in 2002 in Helsinki. Musically relates these five -piece band has its roots from the Jamaican early reggae and rocksteady of the 1960s, as well as from the British 2-tone 1970s.

In 2004, the band released their first single Miracle. The breakthrough came in 2006 with the Valkyrians the cover of Rankin ' Full Stop that, just like the original from The Beat of his time climbing in England, number 6 of the Finnish single charts. In September 2006, the album High And Mighty appears.

In December 2006, the band was the first time on tour in Germany. A licensed edition of the album High And mighy with live bonus tracks was released in April 2007 in Germany on the label Pork Pie.
