The View (Band)
The View are a four -piece indie rock band from Dundee, Scotland. The band went out in early 2005 from various local cover bands and earned itself a reputation as the support act for British bands such as Babyshambles, Primal Scream and The Undertones.
Biography
The band name is derived from the " Bayview Bar " in Dundee, the band had their first rehearsal room. From here, the band joined in early 2005 their triumph, took on his first demos and made the record companies are gaining recognition. Also they gave Pete Doherty a demo tape of himself, which also increased their visibility. In spring 2006, the band signed a contract with the indie label " 1965 Record". A short time later they took with producer Owen Morris, who had previously been produced Oasis and The Verve, the first songs on. During the second half of 2006, the singles "Wasted Little DJs 'and' Superstar Tradesman ", which cracked the British Top 20 appeared.
