The Wallflowers

The Wallflowers ( engl. The Wallflower ) is a rock band from Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1990 and published in 1992 their eponymous debut album. The band currently consists of Bob Dylan's youngest son Jakob Dylan (guitar and vocals), Jack Irons (drums), Rami Jaffee (keyboards), Stuart Mathis (guitar) and Greg Richling ( bass). In November 2002, the band released their fourth studio album, Red Letter Days ( RLD ) published. RLD was the first Wallflowers album, took on the singer Jakob Dylan a lot of the guitar parts himself. RLD was significantly more aggressive than the previous albums concerning the sound. The single release When You're on Top became a hit with American AAA radio stations. However, the sales of the album failed to match that of his predecessors.

In May 2005, the Wallflowers released the CD Rebel, Sweetheart. The album was produced by Brendan O'Brien.

After the record deal with the label Interscope leakage, the band members initially focused on other projects. Keyboardist Rami Jaffee went with the Foo Fighters on tour, the former drummer Fred Eltringham worked with the Dixie Chicks and band leader Jakob Dylan made ​​as a solo artist with two highly acclaimed by the critics acoustic folk albums talked about: 2008 released Dylan's solo album Seeing Things, in April 2010, Women Country was published.
