The Weekly Standard

The Weekly Standard is a political weekly magazine in the United States of America. It is considered a major mouthpiece of neo-conservatism in the United States. He was rumored to parts of the Bush administration's influence. Since 2009, the journal is funded by the billionaire Philip F. Anschutz oil.

Founding, history, staff

The magazine was founded in 1995 and has been one of Rupert Murdoch's media conglomerate News Corporation. The senior editors are William Kristol, founder of the magazine and former chairman of the now-defunct Project for the New American Century, and Fred Barnes.
