The Whip (Band)

The Whip is a band from Salford, Manchester, which was founded in 2006. Her debut album, X Marks Destination, was released on 24 March 2008 under the label Southern Fried Records; as with all three singles before the band chose this time another label. They have also been commissioned by various bands to create remixes of their songs, for example, by the Editors, Hadouken! and The Courteeners. Their songs were numerous use in soundtracks.

Use of songs

Trash has been used for various British commercials, eg 2009 for Coors Light Beer. Besides, it was the background music for the series RudeTube.

Trash comes in the soundtrack of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift before.

Blackout is used in the soundtrack of EA Sports NBA Live 2009. It also appears in the first season of the British series "Batteries Not Included".

Muzzle No. 1 is part of the soundtrack of the 2009 edition of the FIFA video game series.

Fire is part of the EA Sports NFS Undercover soundtracks.

Divebomb is part of the Sims 2 Apartment Life soundtrack.
