Theo Fitzau

Theodor " Theo" Fitzau ( born February 10, 1923 in Köthen; † March 18, 1982 in Gross-Gerau ) was a German racing driver.

In 1953 he contested the Grand Prix of Germany, which was held at that time by the Formula 2 regulations, as a private driver for low Helmut Mayr. However Fitzau fell out already in the third round and scored no championship points.

From 1949 to 1953 he drove mainly in Formula 3 and finished in August 1953 in Freiburg behind Kurt Ahrens sen. and before Kurt Kuhnke - all three at Cooper - second place. He also raced in the Formula 2 on a BMW 328 Weber- homemade, with whom he was in 1950 the fourth city park race Leipzig and second on the Halle- Saale- loop.
