Theodor Roos

Theodor Roos ( * 1638 in Wesel, † 1698 ) was a German history painter and portraitist.

Life

He was a pupil of Adrian de Bie. Roos held by name to Mannheim, Strasbourg, and finally as a court painter in Stuttgart. He painted portraits and histories erased and also a series of small landscapes. He died 1698th

His brother Johann Heinrich Roos (1631-1685) was also a painter.
