Theophil Ruderstaller

Theophil Ruderstaller (* 1906 in Ostermiething, Upper Austria, † June 10, 1946 in Fuxin ) was a Capuchin missionary and China.

Bishop Joseph Wei from Qiqihar, since 2002, the Apostolic Administrator of the former Capuchin Mission Kiamusze ( Jiamusi ), announced in 2005 Gaudentius Walser of the North Tyrolean Capuchin Province that in wells excavations in the garden of a private house two coffins containing the bodies of Theophil Ruderstaller ( Ostermiething ) and Antonin Schröcksnadel ( Innsbruck) were found. They had been brought on 10 June 1946, the church and shot in the rectory.

For Theophil Ruderstaller a beatification process is running.

In November 2009, the remains were exhumed and transferred in January 2010 to Innsbruck, where they will be buried in the Capuchin Church.
