Theophilus Riesinger

Theophilus Riesinger OFM ( born February 27, 1868 in Germany, † November 9, 1941 in Marathon, United States) was a Roman Catholic religious priest and exorcist.

Life

Theophilus Riesinger was ordained on May 29, 1899 at the Franciscan Order to priests. In 1928, one Riesinger commissioned to travel to the U.S. to help you through exorcism of a 40 - year-old woman. His journey took him to the monastery of Earling, which was in Shelby County, Iowa. The Exorcism claimed to twenty-three days. Two days before Christmas, the woman was finally liberated by the alleged demonic influence.

Father Theophilus Riesinger wrote on the events in 1934; they were published as a book. Ries Inger died on 9 November 1941 in the monastery of Wisconsin.
