Theophrastus (crater)

Theophrastus is a small lunar impact crater on the northeast front page, in the Mare - level at the boundary between Mare Tranquillitatis and Sinus Amoris.

The crater was officially named in 1973 by the IAU by the Greek philosopher Theophrastus.
