Sinus Amoris

Sinus Amoris is a small bay -like Mare at Sea of ​​Tranquility on the Earth's moon. The Latin name means in German Bay of Love and was officially defined by the International Astronomical Union in 1976.

Sinus Amoris has an average diameter of 190 kilometers and stretches from the northeast edge of the Mare Tranquillitatis 250 km far. To the north is the crater Romans and the Montes Taurus, to the east of the Lacus bonitatis and the crater Macrobius and southeast of the Palus Somni.
