Therese Bengtsson (born 13 February 1979 in Eslöv ) is a former Swedish handball player.

The 1.87 m wide goalkeeper played initially in their homeland, where they won the championship twice. After she was active for the Norwegian club Bjørnar Håndball, she starred in the 2007/ 08 season with the German club HC Leipzig, with whom she triumphed in 2008 DHB Cup. In the 2008 /09 season she played again in Sweden Team Eslövs IK. Then she ended her career.

Bengtsson played so far 33 appearances for Sweden. With the Three - Crown team she won at the European Championships 2006 in their own country to sixth place and also qualified for the Olympic Summer Games in 2008.
