Thérèse Island

Thérèse (English Therese Iceland, French Île Thérèse ) is an island about one kilometer off the west coast of Mahe, the largest island of the Seychelles located. The island has a length of 1.6 kilometers an area of ​​0.739 km ² ( 73.9 ha) and reaches a height of 160 meters above the sea. Administratively it belongs, together with its neighboring island of Conception, to the administrative district of Port Glaud.

Although the island has no permanent population, it is often visited by tourists, not least because of its long sandy beach in the northeast.
