Thomas Fogdö

Fogdö Thomas ( born March 14, 1970 in Gällivare ) is a former Swedish alpine skier.

In all, he won five World Cup slalom races. In the 1992/93 season he won the slalom World Cup itself. He is therefore the only Swede Ingemar Stenmark next and André Myhrer who succeeded this feat. At the World Championships and Olympic Games three times he reached the fifth and even sixth place, only in its special slalom discipline.

In 1995 he crashed so miserable on a training run in Åre, that he broke his spine and has been a paraplegic. Today he works for various projects as well as sponsors for the Swedish Ski Association.
