Thomas John Rodi

Thomas John Rodi (born 27 March 1949 in New Orleans, USA), Archbishop of Mobile.

Life

Thomas John Rodi received on 20 May 1978, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 15 May 2001, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Biloxi. The Archbishop of Mobile, Oscar Hugh Lipscomb, donated him on 2 July of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of New Orleans, Francis Schulte, and Bishop Emeritus of Biloxi, Joseph Lawson Howze.

On 2 April 2008 he was named Pope Benedict XVI. Archbishop of Mobile. The inauguration took place on 6 June of the same year.
