Thomas Shaw (blues musician)

Thomas Edgar "Tom" Shaw ( born March 4, 1908 in Brenham, Texas, † February 24, 1977 in San Diego, California ) was an African-American blues singer and guitarist.

As a young man although he has worked with Blind Lemon Jefferson, JT Smith and Rambling Thomas, but never get a chance even to make recordings. It was not until the early 1970s - after his ' discovery ' for the white market in the wake of the Blues Revival - he recorded several LPs, on the labels Advent, Blue Goose and Blues Beacon.

In the few years of his ' discovery ' until his death in 1977, he has made extensive tours that took him to Europe.
