Thomas Wörle

Wörle Thomas ( born February 11, 1982 in Krumbach ( Schwaben) ) is a German football coach and former midfielder.

Thomas Wörle began his football career at TSG Thannhausen, then he moved to the youth of the VfB Stuttgart ( 1997). From there he moved to FC Augsburg (Youth), where he played from 1997 to 2003, to return shortly afterwards to his home town of Krumbach. There he played at TSV Krumbach, however, only one year (until 2003), then moved to the Munich Lions ( amateurs). Between 2005 and 2008 he played on Bieberer mountain at the Kickers Offenbach, moving on to season 2008/ 09 for SpVgg Greuther Fürth. At the end of the 2009/10 season Wörle ended his playing career due to health reasons. For the 2010/11 season, he took over as coach in the women's team of FC Bayern Munich.

Wörles sister Tanja plays for the Women's Bundesliga Bayern Munich football. Training was the team of Günther Wörle, the father of Tanya and Thomas Wörle. But this had to be official for season 2010/11 lay down and was succeeded by his son.

  • 2005 promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga
