The Thompson Plateau takes the southwestern part of the Interior Plateau in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The hilly plateau that reaches heights of over 2,000 m, is bounded on three sides by valleys, to the east of the Okanagan Valley, to the north by the valley of the Thompson River and to the west by the valley of the Fraser River.

In the south, the valley of the Similkameen River, the Thompson Plateau separates from the Okanagan Range as part of the Cascade Mountains.
