Thoralf Peters

Thoralf Peters ( born January 13, 1968 in Güstrow ) is a retired German rower. In 1992 he won the silver medal in the coxed four at the Olympic Games.

Thoralf Peters rowed until 1990 for the SG Dynamo Potsdam and then for the Potsdam rowing community. In 1989, Peters for Bernd Niesecke in the foursome, who had become in Seoul Olympic champion. The Potsdamer four in the cast Frank Klawonn, Bernd calibration root, Thoralf Peters, Karsten Schmeling and helmsman Hendrik Reiher won the East German championship; at the World Championships in Bled, the boat took fourth place. 1990 won Peters and Klawonn together with Uwe Schmidt, the last East German championship in two with coxswain at the World Championships in Tasmania the two reached the sixth place.

Karsten finger, Thoralf Peters, Ralf Brudel and Uwe waiters were controlled by Hendrik herons. The newly compiled four won at the German Championship 1992. During the Olympic Games in 1992, the boat won with a second behind the Romanian quadruple the silver medal.
