Thorkild Fjeldsted

Thorkild Fjeldsted (* 1740, † November 19, 1796 in Trondheim ) was an Icelandic judges and 1769-1772 Løgmaður of the Faroe Islands.

Thorkild Fjeldsted was supreme judge in Iceland before he applied for the post of Løgmaður of the Faroe Islands. He had two rival candidates, which was a Jens Christian Svabo. Fjeldsted took office never true, and therefore it was already announced back in 1772, when he was bailiff of Finnmark.
