Tidal race

Tidal currents are compensating currents of the sea, especially in coastal areas, due to the changing of the tides (tidal ). Sometimes in the Wadden Sea tidal creeks also be referred to as tidal streams. The changing of the tides flow (so-called capsizing of the Tide ) need not coincide everywhere with the highest or lowest water level.
