Tigran Vardan Martirosyan

Tigran Vardan Martirosyan (Armenian Տիգրան Վ. Մարտիրոսյան, born 3 March 1983) is an Armenian weightlifter of the 85 - kg class.

Career

His biggest success came Tigran Vardan Martirosyan at the Summer Olympic Games in 2008, where he was able to win a bronze medal in the weight category up to 85 kg, with a total capacity of 380 kg (177 kg 203).

He also won the bronze medal at the 2006 World Cup in the category up to 85 kg with a total capacity of 370 kg, and it was with 172 kg vice-champion in the snatch in front of the same power, but heavier Russians Aslambek Edijew. With the same effort he became in 2009 vice-champion in the snatch behind the Chinese Long Yu, but could not compete in the thrusting.

At the 2008 European Championships he won all three gold medals in the 85 kg class with a total capacity of 377 kg (172 kg 205 kg ).
