Tim Bowler

Tim Bowler ( born November 14, 1953 in Leigh-on -Sea, Essex ) is a British writer.

Bowler studied Swedish and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Norwich. Since 1990 he has worked as a freelance writer and translator. The materials of his stories are strongly influenced by personal experiences. In his book "River Boy ", for which he was awarded the Carnegie Medal in 1998, he processed the death of his grandfather.
