Tim Gill

Tim Gill ( born October 18, 1953 in Hobart, Lake County, Indiana) is an American entrepreneur, computer scientist, software developer and LGBT activist.

Life

Tim Gill attended Wheat Ridge High School in Jefferson County in Colorado and then studied at the University of Colorado in Boulder. After his studies, he worked in California for Hewlett -Packard.

Gill is the developer of the QuarkXPress program. The program is a frame-oriented layout program of the manufacturer curd. This company founded in 1981 in collaboration with Marc Gill Pope. His 50 - percent stake in the company he sold in 2000, and thus became a multi-millionaire. Gill founded the Foundation GillFoundation that supports, among other projects and lobbying LGBT ( Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado). He married Scott Miller in Massachusetts. The couple lives in Denver.
