Tim Hunter (director)
Tim Hunter ( born June 15, 1947 in Los Angeles, California) is an American film director.
Life
Hunter is the son of screenwriter Ian McLellan Hunter. His career in film began in 1979 as Hunter screenwriter with the film of anger. In the 1980s he worked as a director of various feature films. From the 90s he turned primarily to television and was involved in several television series.
For his film River's Edge Hunter was nominated for Best Director in 1988 for the Independent Spirit Award.
