Tim Meadows

Timothy Meadows ( born February 5, 1961 in Highland Park, Michigan ) is an American actor and comedian.

Life

Timothy Meadows was born the son of a nurse Mardell and the janitor Lathon Meadows. He studied film at Wayne State University and then played with the improvisational theater group The Second City with. He was a member of the 1991 television show Saturday Night Live and remained so until 2000, so he set the record as the longest member of the ensemble. The record was broken in 2005 by Darrell Hammond. During this time he played in 189 episodes parodies of celebrities like OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson, Tiger Woods, Oprah Winfrey and Erykah Badu.

His screen debut was in the Meadows published in 1993 and directed by Stephen Surjik comedy Wayne 's World 2 on the side of Mike Myers, Dana Carvey and Tia Carrere, when he played Sammy Davis Jr.. After leaving Saturday Night Live Meadows in 2000 debuted as the lead in the directed by Reginald Hudlin film comedy The Ladies Man. However, the film is neither a critic nor a box office success was granted, so that Meadows was unable to establish itself as a leading actor and since then as a supporting actor in films such as Mean Girls - snappy caution, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and Grown Ups occurred.

Meadows was from 1997 to 2005 with Michelle Taylor, with whom he has two sons together, married.
