Tímea Nagy

Tímea Nagy [ ti ː mɛ.ɒ nɒɟ ] ( born August 22, 1970 in Budapest) is a Hungarian epee fencer.

Sporting successes

At the Olympic Summer Games 2000 in Sydney, she won the gold medal on September 17 against the Swiss Gianna Hablützel - Bürki. Four years later, the left-hander repeat the triumph and won at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the gold medal in épée individual against the Frenchwoman Laura Flessel - Colovic.

Nagy, mother of three children, won at the World Fencing Championship in Turin in 2006 against the Estonian Irina Embrich the gold medal.
