Timur Bekmambetov
Timur Bekmambetov Nuruachitowitsch (Russian Тимур Нуруахитович Бекмамбетов, scientific transliteration Timur Bekmambetov Nuruachitovič; born June 25, 1961 in Gurjev, Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian filmmaker and director.

His father Nuruachit Bekmambetov (Russian Нуруахит Бекмамбетов ) is a Kazakh and his mother Mira Bogoslowskaja (Russian Мира Богословская ) a Jew ( Ashkenazi ).
