Tine Rasmussen ( born July 21, 1979 in Hørsholm, Denmark, Tine Baun married ) is a Danish badminton player.

Career

Tine Rasmussen learned the badminton game in Lillerød. For the local club they won the 1995 Junior U17 title in women's doubles and women's singles. In 1997 she won the women's singles of the U19 in Denmark, 2004 to 2007, she was then also among adults successful, starting now for the Copenhagen club KMB.

Rasmussen participated in the 2004 Olympics, where she was defeated by Petya Nedelcheva in the Round of 32. In the Olympic tournament in Beijing in 2008 Tine Rasmussen had a bye in the first round. In the Round of 32, she won against the Lithuanian Akvile Stapušaitytė. In the second round they then defeated in three sets to Maria Kristin Yulianti from Indonesia.

In 2010 she married the physiotherapist Martin Baun. In the Denmark Open 2012, she announced her resignation on 17 October at the All England 2013. The crowning glory of her career, she defeated there in the finals Thai Ratchanok Intanon and won for the third time as the Yonex All England Badminton Championships.
